FORMULA 1 champion LEWIS HAMILTON’ s season may have stalled — but his love-life with his PUSSYCAT DOLL girlfriend is right on track.
Lewis, 24, got a good-luck smooch from sizzling singer NICOLE SCHERZINGER, 30, before yesterday’s Spanish Grand Prix.
But he failed to perform in the race — while fellow Brit JENSON BUTTON stormed to victory.
Lewis finished ninth in his sluggish McLaren — and narrowly avoided a huge crash in the first lap at the Circuit de Catalunya, near Barcelona.
The glum reigning champion admitted: “I drove my heart out, as I always do.
“It’s a shame they haven’t given me a car to defend the championship with. There’s no hope.”
His mood was a far cry from Saturday as he larked around with Nicole in the team garage, carrying her and letting her sit in his racer.
The Don’t Cha singer has called the driver her “soulmate”, saying: “Lewis is a family person, just like me.”
